We are in political and social chaos. The common ethic has been convoluted to the point where reason and common sense are taking a back seat to individuals who have succumbed to the ideals of a hero worship society, where anything you can stuff into a uniform or wrap in a flag suddenly takes on a noble superiority over anything that is not.
